KRISTINA LARSON was born in Wisconsin in 1978. Larson’s works are predominantly hand-built and wheel thrown clay sculpture and functional home decór objects. Larson completed a MA in Arts Administration at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in 2012, and a BFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts (SMFA) and Tufts University in 2002. Since her first solo show in 2002, Larson has exhibited nationally and internationally. In 2008, while serving as a United States Peace Corps Volunteer in Morocco, she had a major exhibition at the Clock Gallery in Fez, which completely sold out and all of the proceeds were donated to a Moroccan woman’s weaving association. Larson currently lives, works, and sculpts in New Orleans and has works on view at Malachite and Hands in Clay.
